Welcome to Zoovit.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zoovit website, applications, profiles, listings, Opportunities, Hire Me, messaging and related services.
By accessing or using Zoovit, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.
Zoovit is a digital platform that enables users to discover and connect with:
Zoovit may provide:
The core Zoovit platform is currently free for users.
This includes:
Zoovit currently does not charge a listing fee, profile creation fee, Opportunity posting fee, application fee or recruitment commission for these core features.
Zoovit does not charge a recruitment commission merely because a business discovers or contacts a professional through Zoovit.
Similarly, Zoovit does not charge professionals merely for applying for Opportunities.
This does not prevent a business and professional from independently agreeing to their own lawful commercial terms.
You must provide accurate information when using Zoovit.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must not:
Where a particular service is restricted by age or applicable law, you must meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
Businesses may create, submit, claim or manage Business Profiles.
A person creating or claiming a Business Profile represents that they:
Zoovit may request evidence of business ownership or association.
Professionals may create Professional Profiles to showcase their professional identity, skills, expertise and services.
Professionals must ensure that information concerning:
is not knowingly false or misleading.
Where a profession is regulated in India, the professional remains responsible for maintaining any licence, registration or qualification legally required to practise.
Hire Me allows professionals to make themselves available for professional work.
A Hire Me profile does not mean that:
Businesses are responsible for conducting their own assessment before engaging a professional.
Professionals are responsible for deciding whether an engagement is suitable.
Businesses may publish legitimate Opportunities through Zoovit.
These may include:
Businesses must provide accurate and lawful information.
An Opportunity must not be used to:
A business must not require an applicant to pay Zoovit, or pay the business, merely to apply for an Opportunity unless the arrangement is lawful, clearly disclosed, genuinely related to the underlying service and permitted by Zoovit's policies.
In particular, businesses must not demand:
as a condition of ordinary job application.
Applicants are responsible for the information contained in their applications and CVs.
Applicants must not:
Businesses receiving applications must use applicant information responsibly and lawfully.
Zoovit is not the employer of a professional merely because:
Any employment, consultancy, freelance, internship, apprenticeship or other engagement is between the relevant parties unless Zoovit expressly states otherwise.
The parties are responsible for complying with applicable employment, labour, tax, professional and contractual laws.
If a business and professional agree to work together, they are responsible for agreeing their own terms, including where applicable:
Zoovit is not automatically a party to that agreement.
Zoovit does not guarantee:
Zoovit provides a discovery and communication platform.
Users may independently enter into arrangements after connecting through Zoovit.
Such arrangements may include:
Zoovit is not responsible for the performance of contracts between users unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Unless Zoovit expressly provides a payment service for a particular transaction, Zoovit does not process or guarantee payments between users.
Users should exercise caution before transferring money.
Users should not:
Users must not use Zoovit for:
Zoovit may suspend or remove accounts and content suspected of violating these rules.
Users must avoid using Zoovit to create undisclosed or unlawful conflicts of interest.
Examples include:
Users are responsible for managing conflicts arising from their own relationships.
Zoovit does not prohibit lawful hiring or professional engagement merely because a person is currently employed elsewhere.
However, users must respect:
Zoovit does not determine whether a particular employment restriction is legally enforceable.
A professional must not falsely claim:
For regulated professions, users should independently verify applicable registrations or licences before engaging the professional.
Zoovit may offer business verification or claiming mechanisms.
Verification means that Zoovit has completed the applicable verification process.
It does not automatically mean that Zoovit:
Users may submit:
Users retain their ownership rights in their content, subject to the rights necessary for Zoovit to operate the platform.
By submitting content to Zoovit, you grant Zoovit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve and promote the Zoovit platform, subject to applicable law and the user's privacy choices.
This does not transfer ownership of your underlying content to Zoovit.
You must not upload or publish content that:
The IT Rules require applicable intermediaries to maintain rules regarding prohibited categories of user information and due diligence.
Zoovit and its licensors retain rights in:
Users must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, scrape, modify or commercially exploit Zoovit material except as permitted by law or with written permission.
Users must not upload or use content belonging to someone else without the necessary rights or permission.
If a user believes that content on Zoovit infringes their intellectual property rights, they may contact Zoovit with appropriate details and supporting information.
Zoovit may remove or restrict disputed content where appropriate.
Where Zoovit provides reviews or recommendations, users must provide genuine experiences.
Users must not:
Businesses must not suppress legitimate criticism through threats or manipulation.
Users must use communication tools responsibly.
Prohibited behaviour includes:
A user may report another user or communication through available reporting mechanisms.
You must not collect or misuse another person's personal information without lawful authority.
You must not:
Businesses may contact professionals through Hire Me or other permitted Zoovit features.
However, businesses must communicate honestly about:
A business must not falsely represent an Opportunity merely to obtain a professional's personal information.
Businesses and professionals must comply with applicable Indian law.
Zoovit must not be used to facilitate unlawful discrimination, harassment or exclusion.
Users should not create Opportunities or professional services containing unlawful discriminatory conditions.
Certain occupations may have legitimate eligibility requirements under law. Users remain responsible for ensuring that their requirements are lawful.
Users must comply with applicable age restrictions and child-protection requirements.
Opportunities involving minors must comply with all applicable Indian labour, education, child-protection and other laws.
Nothing on Zoovit authorises unlawful employment or engagement of a minor.
Each party is responsible for its own tax obligations.
Zoovit does not automatically determine:
Users should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.
Information available on Zoovit should not automatically be treated as:
Users should independently verify information and obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.
Zoovit aims to maintain reliable access but does not guarantee that the platform will always be:
We may suspend or modify services for:
Zoovit may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
Where required by applicable law, users may have access to grievance or appeal mechanisms.
Users may report:
Reports should contain sufficient information for Zoovit to investigate.
For complaints concerning content, accounts, privacy, platform misuse or other matters:

Zoovit will process grievances in accordance with applicable law and the procedures applicable to the platform.
The IT Rules provide a grievance-redressal framework for applicable intermediaries, including prescribed handling of complaints and appeals.
Using Zoovit does not create:

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Zoovit is not a party to:
The parties are responsible for their own agreements.
The Indian Contract Act, 1872 governs important aspects of contracts, including competence, consent, lawful consideration/object and performance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user may be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zoovit will not be responsible for losses arising solely from:
However, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable Indian law.
Zoovit does not guarantee that information submitted by users is:
Users should independently verify important information before relying upon it.
We may modify, add, suspend or discontinue features from time to time.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes where required.
We may update these Terms when:

Continued use of the platform after the effective date may constitute acceptance where legally permissible.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional feature-specific terms or policies published by Zoovit, constitute the applicable agreement governing use of the platform, subject to applicable law.
